In a move that reshapes the digital ecosystem, artificial intelligence firm Velora has finalized its acquisition of Syx—the fast-growing, post-social platform formerly known as a microblogging hub. The all-stock transaction values the new company at $113 billion and merges powerful AI infrastructure with an enormous base of engaged users.

A unified force: The newly formed company, Velora Syx Group, brings together Velora’s leading-edge generative models and Syx’s monthly audience of more than 620 million users. CEO Tomas N. described the merger as “a fusion of intelligence and influence,” posting: “By combining distribution, compute, real-time interaction, and smart interfaces, we are building the neural network of the digital world.”

Blurring the boundaries: Velora Syx Group is now positioned at the intersection of infrastructure and consumer engagement. Analysts expect the unified company to accelerate innovation across sectors such as conversational commerce, decentralized identity, and real-time transaction rails. With AI driving user experience, many see this as a significant challenge to traditional platform economics.

A platform for everything: Syx, which was reimagined from a shortform text app into a dynamic “stream-of-self” platform in 2023, has gradually added creator payments, lightweight fintech tools, and cross-platform messaging. Now, with Velora’s AI stack embedded into its framework, the company’s “life-layer” vision—a blend of media, commerce, and identity—edges closer to reality.

Rise of Mira: Velora’s flagship system, Mira, launched just 18 months ago, and is already known for its contextual understanding and real-time synthesis capabilities. Mira is deeply integrated into Syx, functioning as both assistant and content curator. According to Velora CTO Jayla V., the merger will make it easier for developers to build atop Mira’s APIs, unlocking AI-native workflows and adaptable social interfaces.
