About the Role

As a Regional Field Marketing Manager owning the marketing strategy in the Southwest region, reporting to the VP of AMER Field Marketing. Preferably based in the Southwest region, you will play a crucial role in driving pipeline and revenue growth and brand awareness through the planning, execution, and management of a regional marketing strategy that includes events and digital demand programs. With your expertise in event management and marketing strategies, you will be responsible for creating impactful experiences that engage our target audience, generate qualified leads and deliver the pipeline to achieve the revenue goals for the region.

What You’ll Do

    1. Strategy and Planning
    •   Develop and implement a comprehensive regional strategy aligned with the company's sales and marketing objectives.
    •   Proactively develop marketing strategies and tactics that leverage data and insights to identify high-growth opportunities in the region.
    •   Create event and demand programs that effectively reach and generate demand with target audiences critical to Island’s success.
    •   Collaborate with cross-functional team members to ensure seamless execution of marketing programs and impact on pipeline and revenue, including sales, legal, finance, and marketing operations.
    1. Event Execution and Management
    •   Oversee the end-to-end execution of events, including trade shows, industry & executive conferences, executive dinners, and hospitality events.
    •   Work with partner organizations to plan and execute joint events.
    •   Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all event requirements are met, such as venue selection, executive speaker selection, booth design, collateral production, event promotion, and staffing.
    •   Manage event budgets, track expenses, and provide regular reports on event performance and ROI.
    1. Brand Promotion and Lead Generation
    •   Develop and implement strategies to generate qualified leads and maximize brand exposure through events.
    •   Collaborate with the brand, growth and product marketing teams to create compelling offers that effectively drive engagement and quality leads for the sales teams.
    •   Work across functions in the marketing team to leverage various marketing channels, including ABM, social media, paid media, email marketing, out-of-home (OOH), advertising, direct mail, and content marketing, to drive pipeline in new accounts.
    1. Relationship Building
    •   Cultivate and maintain relationships with industry community leaders, partners, and key stakeholders to maximize impact from events and demand programs.
    •   Collaborate with the sales team to align event strategies to account targeting, lead generation, and sales goals.
    •   Act as a brand ambassador during events, representing the company and building strong relationships with attendees.

You Might Be a Fit If

    •     Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Masters is a plus.
    •     8-15 years of experience in field marketing, event management, or related roles within the technology industry.
    •     Experience defining marketing strategies that support the sales and business objectives of regional go-to-market teams, with demonstrated success in achieving pipeline and revenue goals.
    •     Documented examples of identifying growth opportunities in the Southwest region and defining marketing strategies and tactics to overachieve pipeline and revenue goals in the region.
    •     Proven track record of successfully planning and executing a variety of event types, including trade shows and conferences, executive events, and social/hospitality events.
    •     Strong project management skills, demonstrating success in managing multiple events simultaneously and meeting deadlines, managing budgets, contracts and payments.
    •     Analytical mindset with the ability to measure event success and optimize strategies based on data-driven insights.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    •     Experience with Account-Based Marketing (ABM) platforms
    •     Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    •     Proficiency in lead management and CRM systems.

Physical Environment 

This position requires the ability to perform sedentary work, which involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects as needed. The employee will primarily operate standard office equipment and keyboards, and may require close visual acuity for tasks like analyzing data and reading extensive text.
